By accessing or using Noctlore at noctlore.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Noctlore is an AI-powered dream journal application that allows users to record, store, and receive AI-generated interpretations of their dreams. The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide psychological and symbolic analysis based on Jungian theory, neuroscience, and dream symbolism frameworks.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.
• You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Plan

The free plan provides limited access to the Service, including up to 3 dream interpretations per month and access to the last 5 dreams in your journal.

Premium Subscription

Premium is a recurring monthly subscription at $6.99/month. You will be billed automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your profile settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

Lifetime Access

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment of $49.99 that grants permanent access to all Premium features. This is a non-refundable purchase unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@noctlore.com within 14 days of the charge.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI interpretation system
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit dreams in bulk
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without permission

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Dream interpretations provided by Noctlore are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal insight purposes only.

Noctlore is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing distressing thoughts, mental health challenges, or recurring nightmares that affect your wellbeing, please consult a qualified mental health professional.

AI interpretations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your personal situation. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or usefulness of any interpretation.

7. Intellectual Property

The Noctlore name, logo, and all original content on the platform are the property of Noctlore and may not be used without permission.

You retain ownership of the dream content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your dream content to train AI models.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noctlore and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any legal action.
